Hotel Alkyon

A Timeless Hotel with Vintage Charm Opened in 1990, our hotel has remained true to its original spirit and character. Over the years, we have chosen to preserve its distinctive décor, colors and atmosphere rather than follow changing trends. The result is a genuine vintage feel — warm, personal and full of character. The hotel is carefully maintained and completely repainted every year, ensuring that its timeless charm is complemented by a fresh, clean and welcoming atmosphere. Here, luxury is found in simplicity, tranquility and authenticity. It is a place to slow down, take in the surroundings and rediscover the pleasure of simple things. Our cozy, modestly sized rooms provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a fan, a refrigerator and a private balcony. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and unpretentious, reflecting the spirit of Syros itself. Guests come here to enjoy the beauty of the island, the sea, the peaceful surroundings and the genuine Greek hospitality. With its own distinctive personality, the hotel favors charm and authenticity over uniformity. It is a place where time seems to have left something precious behind — an atmosphere that feels both familiar and timeless. A Peaceful Setting by the Sea The hotel is located in Megas Gialos, in the south of Syros, in a clean, peaceful and pleasant setting overlooking the sea. Set slightly away from the main tourist routes and perched on the hillside, the hotel offers a wonderfully tranquil environment while remaining conveniently accessible. Despite its peaceful location, it is by no means isolated. The main road and the bus stop are just a three-minute walk away, providing easy access to the island’s villages, beaches and other points of interest. A quiet retreat with a beautiful sea view, a relaxed atmosphere and the authentic charm of Syros. License Number(s): 1144K012A0306000
